"We
come into retreat because our lives are busy and hurried and we feel
the need of getting beneath the surface, of being for a time alone with
God in that inner world where we discover His presence and reality."
--Evelyn Underhill
First Fridays: A Day of Retreat for Ministers and Other Servants
If you are serious about your spiritual life, it has been
recommended that you spend a minimum of one-hour-a-day,
one-day-a-month, and one-week-a-year in prayer and reflection.
We are delighted to respond to this call by offering a monthly
opportunity, a day of retreat, for quiet reflection and spiritual
renewal. Structure and
guidance will be provided for those who want it as well as the option
for one-on-one spiritual direction, or you can simply spend the day in
silence -- your choice. Join us for First Fridays beginning February 5, 2010.
Where: Richmond Hill - 2209 E. Grace St., Richmond, VA 23223
When: First Fridays, 9am - 4pm
Suggested Donation: $20 (payable to Richmond Hill) includes lunch
Facilitator: Mimi Weaver is a seasoned retreat facilitator with more than 12 years' experience as a spiritual director. She is owner of GraceMoves, with a private practice in life coaching and spiritual direction.
