Meditation & Mindfulness Coaching

So what is a good meditator? The one who meditates.
— Allan Lokos

There has been a huge surge in interest in meditation and mindfulness over the past several years. Often people start a meditation practice on a retreat or at a workshop but have trouble sustaining the practice. Even those who do continue their practice will express a need for support.

Meditation coaching is for anyone who would like one-on-one support with their meditation practice.

If it weren’t for my mind, my meditation would be excellent.
— Pema Chödrön

I do not consider myself an expert (and probably never will), but I have many years of meditation experience. I have attended eight 10-day intensive meditation retreats in the Vipassana (Insight) tradition and have served as Course Manager on one of those retreats. I have also had training in Mindfulness Meditation with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield as well as training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. I offer meditation consultations through a concierge medical practice and serve as a mindfulness teacher for The Inner Work Center. My hope in offering Meditation & Mindfulness Coaching is to encourage and support you in your practice, to meet you where you are and help work through any issues or obstacles that might arise for you.

Meditation is like a gym in which you develop the powerful mental muscles of calm and insight.
